I'm driving home to Mission, BC from Big white ski resort in kelowna tomorrow afternoon. I'll post my MPG figures on the downhill and see what I come up with.

You guys figure putting it in neutral on the long downhills will help or hinder my MPG? (6speed Manual)

That's my generation, when I was 16 looked up to Paul Walker and his character of Brian O'Connor

Here are a few of my previous cars, I think it tells the story of my taste levels.

I'm not sure of the bolting location on the 3rd gen for these side steps, but on my 2010 2nd gen, I quickly ripped the aluminum side steps off my truck and found out the hard way they were bolted onto the underside of the cab, not the frame... There wasn't a ton of damage, but enough for me to slip some curses when it happened.

All I suggest is be cautious about installing these if you're doing any intermediate or experienced wheeling trails.
Maybe look into custom or even aftermarket bolt on rock guards as an option that bolt through/over the frame rail

Yeah you are pretty fast and furious hahaha.

Looks like you spent gobs of money on cars.

To be honest I went through almost all that too hahAhaha I had a bunch of rice rockets myself except I was more reserved on the lighting and gauges etc.

    I had an sti/Evo and 370z

Immediately after you fill up it is very easy to get the mileage up. The calculation is based on the current tank so it fluctuates very far up and down. I have had mine up to high 20s but i live in PA and level roads are not very plentiful. I would think you could get it up in the thirties in Florida or somewhere flat.

Looks good. Does the trim you wrapped separate from the bezel or do you have to wrap it still attached?

Dropped my 5100s from 1.75 to .85. Took me about 2 1/2 hours and a few Bud Lights working solo, but I carefully marked everything out and followed the online guides here thanks to @sandyTrd87 and @0uTkAsT on how to install 5100s. Truck sit's perfectly even now and the alignment is much better. Getting a proper alignment tomorrow, but definitely feel accomplished doing something like this on my own. Was a little nervous at first, but once you get going it's pretty smooth.

I would suggest anyone with a little mechanical knowledge installing your own suspension if you want to save a couple hundred. You also learn more about your truck and feel more confident doing things on your own.

Pro Tip for those with aftermarket wheels: Wrap your spline lug key with either shrink wrap or electrical tape to avoid any scuffing in the lug nut bore when taking your splines/lugs out.

Yeah the wrapped piece does separate, screws on the back hold it together.

Soo...I'm considering the "Stars and Stripes" look on my grille, because I REALLY like it. I mocked it up on a white truck, since it hasn't been done on white before. Heres my rough photochop job. Opinions? Screen Shot 2016-02-21 at 3.25.54 PM.jpg

Just added bumper plugs to fill the holes after removing the front incense plate. Looks better now.

Anyone have pictures of their bumper air dam removed? Thinking of doing this.

It's Vivvid vinyl wrap. Great stuff to work with, I have a ton of the CF vinyl since they sent it to me by mistake. Been meaning to find a use for it.

If anybody decides to order some, do not order cheap stuff. Buy a quality vinyl like 3m or Vivvid.
