Link to a video someone did on some of my uncle's custom knives. He has two in in production with benchmade that I have and they are getting ready to release a third. Have two custom hunting knives that I made with him. Does some awesome stuff.

Switched my PM2 to Tip Up carry. Much better but still a little on the big side for my carry needs. image.jpg

You left handed by chance? I use the clip as leverage to flip the blade open using the hole.

Nope right handed. I slide the knife out from the outside of my pocket so my thumb is already on the thumb opening

I carry it daily and a CRKT squid in the back pocket. I love it and use it for everything. I just used it to cut an avocado with dinner lol

Not really knife related but I think this type of stuff goes hand in hand. Just got this Titanium bottle opener/multi tool from eoscases.com I got the Unheat-treated version cuz I wanted to try and do it myself.

A bit thicker material than mine. :D

I would think a propane torch should still be able to get it done. I heated mine for a bit before I tried getting different colors and let the material get fairly evenly warm first.

Lol yeah I tried using a little butane torch I bought at a liquor store and it worked ok but I don't think it got it hot enough lol. I'll go buy the torch attachment during the week since I already have a bunch of propane tanks from camping.

I have the PM2 and said it was too big for my EDC. Rumors on the Bladeforum and Spyderco show a PM3. Not sure if this is a real photo or photoshopped. But I want.

that looks horribly photoshopped lol but that would be cool if they make a pm3. not a huge fan of the spyderco blade shapes but i like the size of the pm2. i prefer the bigger size knives

Figured it was photoshopped. But still gives a good idea of what it would look like. I don't know all state knife laws. But a PM3 with a blade under 3 inches might be nice if that's the law. I just want a smaller PM2. Not a delica. Or, maybe something delica size with a compression lock.

I am for sure about the Sage 5. And it will have the compression lock. It was showed at the SHOT knife expo. And I love my Sage 2. So I'll definitely be getting it.
