What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Finished this up late last night. Bilstein 5100 @.85 ,OME887,1.5 aal, TRD Pro wheels, BFG KO2'S 285/70/17. No rubbing, rides great, Thanks Headstrong Offroad! !!

 

Dipped the Tailgate, turned out pretty good. I have never loved plastidip, but saw something like this on here and thought it looked good.

 

Go over to the color matched grill thread. You'll see a bunch that just did the bezel.

Mounted 5" nerf bars and put on black tailgate inserts this weekend.

 

Greased my u joints. No more clunk.

 

Looks like you still have some decals

 

How do you like the Mastercraft tires? Are they noisy? Good traction? I read a couple of bad reviews and it puzzles me. Your thoughts? I'm thinking of buying a set.

Has anyone upgraded the tires on their limited with stock suspension? I am thinking of upgrading to p265/65/r18 ko2 tires just wondering if anyone has done this yet and did they get any rubbing?... Thanks

Can you update on where you're getting the alignment done and how much? I'm local in the inland empire and doing the same 5100 at .85 soon so wanted to see if you had a recommendation. Thanks!

Welcome. . There's an hour glass icon in the upper right under the Alerts link. Once you get used to the site you'll find your way around easier...just takes time.....we've all been there.

Also...If you click on the Forum tab in the upper left you'll see a section for wheels and tires as well as all sorts of other links within this site which are fun and cool.

Installed the Toyrec Boss 2.0 front this afternoon. I am still adding the 1" blocks,FN Pros and 275/70/17's later in the week. I have actually considered leaving the stock wheels on with the new tires. They are growing on me and look pretty good IMO.

Thanks! Yea I found the list of tire sizes and tire size calculator... I just wanted to see if anyone has done it before I drop a grand on tires... So far my last few days of searching and going through maybe 350 pages of this thread and I haven't seen anyone do this without a lift. I'll keep searching... Thanks again
