Hmm I'll see have to see how your results compare to typical. I've considered getting the OME kit at some point, but that much lift is too much for my taste/need.

As far as I know, mine is stock. What do you want measured?

My main headlight assembly signals change too.

This one is running lights passenger side.

    20160221_180921.jpg

Then the drl switches to amber turn signal driver side. Have the corner mod done too. I know a lot of guys don't like these but a lot of dudes like em too......my ufo headlights. ; )

Typically OME kits settle to 2.5" and maybe start out 1/4" to 1/2" in higher pre-settle...

Admittedly, I do like crazy lights. I've caught myself looking at yours before. Makes me think I might not be spending so little when I get retros done...

That's more what I recall reading. Any clue why yours is so high?

I haven't the faintest idea. I'm not upset.. I just didn't expect so much lift. As long as my angles don't get so F-ed that I start wrecking shit I don't mind. I'll be interested to see how much the lift settles.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that day when you comment on how it's settled. I'm guessing it'll settle more than typical, given the atypical lift height, but not enough to drop it down to what most get out of the kit.

Its not that bad if you do it yourself. I spent maybe $100 in led/ projectors. And maybe $150 on the housings. Everything is off eBay and not one LED has even thought about doing anything funny. They are solid. I can color change them as I want ( demon eyes and halos) and I can also turn on and off sections from my dash.

I'll post a follow up in a couple of months after I've had a chance to put it through its paces.

That cheap, eh? Never thought about building them myself. Haven't quite decided on what options I'd want to include in it even, since funds aren't near where I can spend a decent chunk on lights. But I was gonna have them built for me. But for the prices you're saying, I can get more options for less money if I do it myself. I just don't want to fuck them up. What kind of difficulty is involved with building them?

I love that level of control. What do the interior controls look like?

You just need some acrylic glue, soldering iron, shrink tube, and a dremmel tool. Takes some skill but nothing most guys on here couldnt handle. Separate the light housings and go to town.

This is an OLD (yuck) picture of the unfinished dash. Switches under the radio control all my lighting.

    20150513_193733.jpg

Some of my modding I was doing on the lights.

Have any of you guys added tie downs or tie down rails to the beds of your trucks? I want a better way to strap down camping gear mostly.

That's exactly what I want to do! Need to get rid of the stupid plastic bedliner first...

Any reason you didn't use flush mounts, or would they be too wide?
