I hope all the members that were ripped off get their $ back though.

I was refunded $100 via PayPal for my missing low voltage cutoff today. Almost exactly one year to date of my initial order.

Sky- Everyone makes choices they are responsible for in life, no excuses...none. I really hope you learned something from all this.

I've been waiting about a year and 21 days so far...

I started a complaint with paypal a few months ago. The seller has a few days to contact the customer before paypal steps in. Skygear sent me an email just before the time limit that said only "Did you receive a box?" I replied no and asked again for a refund and have not heard a thing in the last few months. I think I'm gonna try the paypal complaint again. I'd love to have my $157 back.

 

I did a PayPal complaint awhile back an he wrote back just before it was too late and said it's on its way so PayPal wouldn't do anything now I can't even figure out how to do another complaint I think it's been too long. I feel your pain I was in for $257

--- I went through the previous thread to order. Been trying to get ahold of him for a long while but nothing. Any help would be appreciated as I am at the point of having to contsct the Attorney General and whatever other legalities I need to do. Thanks I am right at a year now.

I did have one cant find my old login information. Wasnt real active anyways. Think it was stevesfj or something like that. Too many emails and accounts. Looked for like an hour trying to fogure it out decided to just make a new account since it wasnt on any email addy I currently use. Oh well... It sucks eother way.

 

This hustle was advertised all over the internet and this forum is the only one that has moderators that are being proactive about helping resolve this issue. Sadly, there are probably others that are still out their money that have no idea that this thread exists.

 

How is this guy not in jail? As I understand it, theft is a punishable offense.

Just like he didn't get anything for writing bad checks; you really have to try to get the attention of your local prosecutor.

 

He wrote bad checks?

 

Depends on who you ask. I think Mike said some dude was just giving him a hard time or something over a bounced check

Either way his name is all over the local police web site for writing a bad check.

 

I live right up the road from you. I can join the beer meet up, open my hood and gloat about my skygear product

 

I also want to express the following:

1. Disappointment for those who got screwed over by Mike.

2. Appreciation for the mods/admin for trying everything in their capacities to make things right for those who got screwed over. No consolation for those in bullet point #1, but at least they shortened the "screwed over" list.

Having had "successful" (relatively speaking) communication with Mike as he was building the product that I eventually received (after very long delays and copious amounts of his bullshit) I felt the need to go to bat for those being screwed as well. I found him on expeditionalportal and sent him a PM on 11/17/15. A couple of hours later he was back in touch on TW for the first time in forever.
