Finally found a 1 piece roll bar! If you are looking for one, Sterling Equipment and Manufacturing
is still making them! Here is their website: http://www.sterling-equipment.com/
We went with the double/single but they will build what you want, the double/doubles were looking sweet too!

Tires had a very slight rub on the mud flaps at full lock.

Thanks for the roll bar suggestion. I love the look of those in a single cab!

Reg cabs are still the greatest. I'm jealous.

Any tips or instructions on that roll bar installation?

Also, what exact model did you get from Sterling?

    Looks great ... I'm envious!

Thank you. Very simple and quick installation, just set the roll bar in your bed where desired, make sure you are clear underneath before drilling and that is it!

So is it just mounted to the composite bed, or is the frame or other metal mounting points involved?

We just mounted it to the composite bed, left about a 1/2" between the top of the bed rail behind the cab, we wanted it as close as possible to the cab but a little room so it would not contact the top of the bed rail. Mounting hardware came with it and it has a bend up in the middle so everything is cool with your third brake light.

1 - Truck looks awesome, lifted reg cabs are the best looking trucks.

2 - With some flexing, those tires will be giving you more than a little rub, I'm sure.

3 - Why not mount the roll bar to the frame where the bed attaches, for the protection of an actual roll bar?

4 - Did I mention that your truck looks awesome?

Thank you very much! I had those tires mounted on my 14 Tacoma access cab with the Toytec Boss lift but I had the stock Baja SR wheels with .75" BORA spacers and no rubbing at all, must be a difference in BS, the Raptor wheels have a 4.5" BS.

You could fabricate the roll bar and weld it to the frame but we just wanted that old school look.

It's very "Marty-McFly Old School." I like the "KC Highlighter" covers and those rims are a very good match with the overall look.

As far as the "roll-bar" discussion goes - just call it a "light-mounting" bar instead of a "roll-bar" and dismiss the entire conversation. Everyone knows it's there to look cool and mount lights on, not for actual protection.

Thought of daylighters on the front or retro decals? I think that would really give it that old school look. Looks great already!
