my dad says you have a skid mount actuated video downlink antenna, so must be a BMS system, we'll have to see about changing that to some better equipment!

And a few more pics from over the years. I've had some amazing experiences so far. I've been able to fly over the Bahamas, Caribbean, offshore, all over the US, and in many types of helicopters. I've met people from all over the world, flown celebrities, politicians, musicians, etc. I've been at Maverick for 4 years now, and wouldn't trade it for anything.

 

I had a friend or two working for Maverick. I hear they're the best paying out of all the tour companies.

 

Indeed. From my experience, they are one of the better paying helicopter companies in the states. I'd say about 80% of our guys leave for air ambulance, and they take a large pay cut.

 

Well, outside of utility maybe. I think utility work is where the most money is at. I've been in the powerline world for the last 4 years. Pays well with lots of time off. Yeah most EMS doesn't pay that well.

 

I said ONE OF the better, not the best. I am aware how much utility guys make, I just don't care for the lifestyle. I like being home 365 days a year by 3pm. Some guys love it though, and I'm happy for them. That's the cool thing about this industry, it's extremely diverse, and a lot of jobs will take you places in the world you never thought you'd end up.

Yeah I hear you. I'm getting sick of being in the road for work, even though my schedule is 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off. It's still a lot.

My dad is at the HAI Helicopter Expo in Louisville KY this week. Stop by and see him at the Vislink Surveillance booth if you make it to the show. He told me he would send me some aircraft photos from inside the hall as they set the place up today. I will post them once I get them.
