They turned my rotor and drums. Don't see why they would push back on an adjustment

Got an update on my truck, which has been waiting a month for the parts to arrive. Within three weeks, all of it will be on my truck and I can give back their loaner corolla and drive my baby again.

Considering this thread is 102 pages, I am not reading all of them. I had my frame coated last March. I was just under my truck and noticed it is starting to flake off. I have not called toyota because it is Sunday. I will call this week. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue, if so how was it handled. Thanks
    Cheers

Those of you that have had your frames replaced, did they replace all of your brake lines? Was the brake line that runs along the rear differential replaced?

I guess the rear brake lines are not a covered component, if I am reading this correctly.

What state are you in? I'm in KS and dealer just told me last week I don't qualify for the replacement or the coating. Also going to call Toyota tomorrow

    Yes

My brother pulls a truck in at 7 am and has it on the alignment rack by 3pm, test driving it by 4pm.

When he does my truck I'll time elapse it.

Mine goes in Tuesday for the frame test. If it fails, they'll give me a car. I said I need a truck...I can't pull a 12' landscaping trailer come April with a Prius...she said I could sign a liability waiver and keep driving my truck until the frame comes in. YES!!!!

just to be clear, you are saying one person can do the entire frame in 8 hours.... i'd rather have real time vid vs. time lapse if it is only 8 hours.

one person does the job and has an extra set of hands from another tech to remove heavy stuff if needed.

yes one tech -- 8 hours -- complete frame swap.

when over a dozen have been done it becomes a methodical job.

I would not do any towing with a bad frame. If that frame lets go and somebody gets hurt the legalities will not be pretty:notsure:

I was given a '15 dcsb while my truck is in the shop. I told them I'll put my 28' extension ladder on your Camry, but I'm not gonna be responsible for what it looks like when I return it.

X2. THAT I'd like to see. With no disrespect to an individual that does do this correctly..... I'd rather have them take available time on mine ....

They won't. They'll get it done as quickly as possible. They're gonna get the 41 hours time regardless of how long it takes them. I was told 2 guys, 2days...9 hours pure profit.
