One of my colleagues up in Maine just had his inspected and it failed. However the Toyota dealer is letting him drive it until the get a frame in. Maybe that's just how they roll in Maine, or maybe they just don't want to pay for a rental for 6 months and are hedging their bets that nothing will happen till the frame comes in.

 

You guys can keep talking about guns. I'll talk with Rebecca about her vibrators.

Probably depends on the dealership. Like I said, they let me take mine home but then called wanting it back later that day. So I just loaded the motorcycle in the back, brought it back over to them and dropped it off, and rode the bike home. They apparently needed pics to send to Toyota, but I don't know if they would have let me keep driving it or not after that.

 

I am headed to Brattleboro this weekend with the bride. Do you know of anything I should not miss

Soooo I just found out my front brakes are nearly fried (thank you Mass Puke traffic)--about 2mm left on the pads and no room on the rotors to machine, guess I shouldn't complain as I got 5 years & 50K out of them. PLUS I get to figure out where the play in the front end is coming from--hope its just a tie rod end and not a bj...and I still gatta order parts for the 98....oh boy

 

I ordered brembo blanks for mine before i trade it in. They were priced pretty good on Amazon.

Just a guess, maybe it is showing rust but no rot yet. Cupcake's was one of the first in MA (hadn't even got a letter yet) but hers failed horribly.
