so yeah, I think I am almost done too, after new foglights, (but these are broke, so more of a true need than a mod), more skids, wheels, bedrack of some sort, dakar leafs and shocks, maybe 887 springs, then done.......lol

Had a ticket in VA before. Major headache had to appear and was a 7 hour drive, so I just paid it.

Since you were over 80- they may have a special FU! Speeder law. I would spend time, calling a lawyer. This will likey be an expensive pain in the @ss.

GA also has an FU! "Super Speeder" law. (Ask me how i know...)
    :anonymous:

Also, once the points post to your DMV record, you can typically take a day long traffic school to get 1-2 points removed. In SC you can also ask for a prayer for judgement- i had a point removed for that, too.

Unfortunatly i speak from experience, which is another reason i ditched the sporty car for the Tacoma.

10-4 to that, got a ticket years ago in VA on 58 heading over to VA beach. I truly had my cruise set at 60 in a 55, he wanted to hear none of it. Wrote me for 64 in 55. had to sit in traffic school with an instructor named Forest Rump, no lie. expensive PITA.

Yea Va really screws you when it comes to Speeding tickets , I made the judge mad when I had to appear because he wanted me to take a driving class or loose my driving privileges in Va for 3 months & I told him I plead guilty & will be glad not to drive in your state for 3 months , drove back threw a few weeks later

If you talk to them im sure they'll drop the misdemeanor part. I mean it was just a speeding ticket. ive been pulled over doing a little over 100 (speedo said a hair under 120) and I didn't get anything but a steep ticket and 2 points which somehow never even showed up on my license. just talk to them. it cant get worse!

Va is evil when it comes to speeding. IIRC there was an article on http://jalopnik.com/ about one of their writers spending the weekend in Jail for a speeding ticket.

Goodness that's ridiculous.. I speed almost everywhere I go.. Lord knows I do when I get a call.. I passed a state trooper to get around him before to get to a wreck.. My butt puckered for that one but he didn't flash lights or anything.. I feel blessed

I believe SOS brackets are bolted to the hood, not where we mounted the cali raised brackets. Completely different locations. Not sure if ends are even taken off for that style of install.

That's fine , yea you don't have to do anything to the cowl on the ones that bolt to the hood
