Why are you interrupting natural selection?

I have wanted to get out to that part of the country.

I'm trying to hit that trail as soon as I get there. Needless to say I'll be avoiding this trail...

because its 50/50 that the animal will be euthanized too...even if the people were 100% at fault.
at old faithful last summer there were two or three incidents of people being gored by buffalo while trying to take selfies with the freaking things. the rest of the summer they had "buffalo babysitters" whose only job was to follow the buffalo around the area and keep folks away. they started to do the same thing for the elk that hang out around mammoth.

i stopped and lectured one group sneaking up on a big bull elk. they were about 10 FEET away from the damn thing and their only response was "its OK, he's sleeping..." and what do you suppose will happen when he wakes up and is startled by the dozen of you sticking a camera in his face like some paparazzi following a movie star around...?!?!

Those antlers don't look like they would feel good. One of my biggest oh shit moments was when an elk crossed my path when I was on a side road. They are huge.

I really want to have one to tote stuff down to the Outer Banks. Surfboards, wetsuits, surf gear, camp gear, food, ect. That way I can keep stuff out of the inside of the 4Runner leaving room for more people. Usually it's just me and one or two more since there's not enough room for boards and people. I have racks on my car but prefer to throw them inside. With a trailer, I could at least keep my eyes on them and do side to side mounting, two stacks of three.

Not even sure where to begin though. And sand driving would likely be severely limited with a trailer.

Hahah if only. I think he's listed way too high for what he's got. I've seen 2500 for second gens with new rebuilds. Would rather wait, find one of those and be happy spending the extra $500

That guy literally bought a 2015 tacoma and took it straight there... Not great.

I was posting on the thread for anza and said I don't think a tacoma will make it. Only jeeps and maybe first gens. Definitely not my 5th gen. Then I found that video. I was right! lol
