After some reading on the forums i decided to go with the bilstein 5100 adjustable lift kit from toytec. Ive installed the rear portion of the lift and im on the front now. Next step is to disassemble the old coil overs and assemble the new ones. Ive tried to search for the answer to this with no luck so im hoping someone here can help me out.

Toytec sent me three spacers( picture included). two 1/2" spacers and one 1/4" inch spacer. Im assuming im going to add the 1/4" spacer to the driver side coil over. I cannot tell by
looking at the stock coil overs. (the dealer put a leveling kit on it) So I would end up with 3/4" on the drivers and 1/2" on the passenger. Is this correct? Save me friends. :)

also, if that is where it goes, why do you have more on one side than the other?
    THANKS

I think if I heard correctly, the guys at Dan Moto told me that if we 2nd gents re-use stock coils the driver side coil is a tad longer/ compensated for the "taco lean" I guess they only marked it with a paint pen( hard to tell) . If your using after market coils id just put the 1/4 spacer on driver side call it a day. Unless you want more lift on each then 1/2" on driver then 1/4" on pass. Hope this helps this is just what I've gathered. I don't have a lift yet, but I've reading my arrss off. Good luck, sure others pioneers will chime in

Maze is right. The extra 1/4 spacer is meant for the driver's side to correct the lean.
