No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
TRD OR AC LB V6 Auto. Climate control and tech package.

    Sales price $34533.

    No doc fees

    $800 tax and title.

Toyota Platinum zero deductible 8/120k bumper to bumper $1400 (started at $2800..... It's amazing how bad they want to sell those things!)

    $36,733 OTD

Ass hurt a little and I'd have preferred some foreplay..... But seems I didn't do any worse than anyone else on here. Got killer trade in $$ for my 2015 Ford F-150 XLT Sport 4x4 crew cab that had 35,900 miles on it. Got out of it with no negative equity.

Maybe not the best deal on the planet, but I'm fairly happy with it. After taking into consideration travel costs, I'm $750 over the absolute best deal I've seen.

Would have fought harder for a larger discount, but this is the exact truck I've been looking for.

2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4, Double Cab, Short Bed, Automatic Transmission
Super White Exterior and Graphite with Gun Metal Interior
Premium and Technology Package with JBL Audio
    Tow Package
    Carpet Floor Mats
    Door Sill Protectors
    Exhaust Tip

    MSRP $38,614.00
    Discount $1,847.88
    ----------
    Selling Price $36,766.12

    State Tax $2573.63
    Local Tax $36.00
    Single Article Tax $44.00
    Doc Fee $150.00
    Title and Registration Fee $54.00
    Indiana Tire Fee $1.25
    ----------
    OTD $39,625.00

Just put my deposit down. Going to take a rental car to the dealer 6.5h away tomorrow morning.

Edit: Took delivery today and updated the cost breakdown.

That's crazy. I ordered a truck on 1/28 and it will be here next week. It's currently on a train in California.

If you don't mind me asking, how come you got out of the Ford? 2.7?

Got out a '15 F-150 myself, Toyota really came through on the trade-in value for me as well, was impressed. Every other competitor wasn't even close on offers, even Ford themselves offered considerably less. Had mine for 10 months and only put 12,000 km's on it.

I paid nothing. I woke up one morning and found it in my driveway.

    I blame the Taco Fairy.

Off-road I felt it was abit too loud although you drown it out after 30-40 minutes (aluminum), bit of a gas guzzler but who believes the sticker MPG these days. The truck also had several door failures over the winter leading to some serious headaches, as well as some issues with cracking plastic on the interior leading to whole assembly orders to fix (luckily it was all covered under warranty but still..). Personally I enjoyed the truck it performed perfect engine wise, however I never loved driving it or felt a sense of pride as some Ford drivers do (Maybe should have gone with the V8 instead of Eco). I love my Tacoma though and have an absolute blast driving in general. I now also fit in my driveway easier :)

My father owns a '15 Lariat V8 and apart from a wonky digital reading from his speedometer (2x fixed now).

No, 5.0 coyote. Loved the truck..... Initially

Didn't like the fact that over the first year and in only 35k the transmission had to be yanked once to have the direct drive clutch replaced and then right before I traded it, it was sporadically dying at idle and the tranny was getting really clunky. Way too many serious issues for a truck with a $50k MSRP and only 35k miles put on it.

Ordered a 4x4 AC Sport with auto trans and tow package with all weather mats. MGM with gray interior. But on all the paperwork we signed it says it's an off-road, I tried to search the vin online and had no luck. If they did make this mistake do you guys think they would have to honor their price and give me the off-road instead of the sport? Was right around 35k otd with gap, and no warranty yet.

Well the sport and off road are the same price, so I don't see anyone losing money. It is really up to if you are ok with it.

I think the off-road is a bit more cause of the locking diff. Only thing I don't like about the off-road is the fender flares.

$9100.00. Nine grand and some change.

The kicker is, I lost only $2,900 on my 2014 Dbl Sport over what I paid last time about $33,000. Probably not the best trade differential out there, but I'm pleased.

The base Invoice/MSRP is the same for both:

    7542 - TRD SPORT DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 AUTO - $ 31249 | $ 33730

    7544 - TRD OFF ROAD DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 AUTO - $ 31249 | $ 33730

Up to what you want, personally I feel the locking diff is a better deal, but some people really like the hood scoop and can throw their own locker in later.
