    Yep....Gotta raise the rear end of the truck a bit.....On the way to work this morning I noticed I got a "flashed" a dozen times and the headlights were pointed at the tree tops! Good for coon hunting, but not so good for driving in traffic.

    I say go for it! When I did mine I had to re do them both after not taking enough off, the redo the driver side a third time. If I do them I'm cutting them right the first time if you know what I mean. Let me know if you need some filler plates anyway.

    If I do it myself, the plan is to cut as far as I think I can get away with. Don't wanna do it twice.....

    BTW, I've got a BUNCH of iron at the house. We bought the place from a guy who used to build trailers. He walked off and left his iron rack full of stuff. Lots of angle iron, some pipe, and a bunch of 6"X6" box tubing (1/4" wall) Some plate steel too. Some day I'll take inventory and let you know what I have. Someone needs to get some use out of it all.

    I will rarely, if ever use them. But it was only like $50 more so I went with it just in case.

    Should be .120 wall. That's what mine are.
