    Most won't tell you it isn't true...They'll tell you it's chemical/hormone driven and they can't do anything about it.

    I got lucky...Mine doesn't get crazy- but I know some chicks who make a joke out of how batshiat nutty they can get away with being before someone tells them they need professional help....

    Concur- It IS 100% hormones....DO not concur that it's uncontrollable. Just like we dick-havers can change our normal patterns of behavior to accommodate the monthly visitor....Non-dick-havers can too...

    Emotional control is a skill. Males are predisposed to having increased faculty with it, because evolutionarily we did not rear children. Sanity has nothing to do with. Most would argue jumping your truck over a sand dune is insane, and with potentially more merit.

    +1- Because giving a brief in front of the CAPT or the assembled crew with one just won't work (unless you have an awesome crew...)

    Who is affected is totally part of the equation- If I can pop a tent and no one around me has to know about it then it's under control. If I start rubbing it on their leg every time...That's not under control.

    Like Impulse said- Lots of women don't have a problem ever. It's not a guarantee that any given woman WILL go nutz or not- but the ones that do and then instantly cry foul when they don't get the exact treatment that they want- That's just as out of line as the guys who do shit to antagonize the situations.

    No, you're confusing the issue. Whether or not you pop the boner in the first place is the issue of control. Your boner = her emotional outburst.


    Impulse said she only notices one small difference herself. I'm sure everyone around her notices more. All women have trouble with the rag, I'm convinced. It's just a matter of how much they LET it affect others, which is DIFFERENT from above, because not showing emotions is completely different from not having emotions.

    No disagreement on this last bit whatsoever.

    True, this is the issue of your thread, but it's not what we got sidetracked onto, which is a shared fault thing anyway.

    So getting back to topic:

    Best case scenario: suffer lightly and avoid entanglements for a few days

    I recommend just not getting into serious relationships. But that's just me, and a lot of people say I'm going to hell.

    You are comparing two different levels of response- Popping a boner is a base physical response- and without impact to others (unless you make a choice to do so). An emotional outburst requires that interaction/impact on others by it's very nature.

    So yes...While I don't have total control of my johnson- I do have the option about who/what it affects. As does any lady at any time of the month...
