Story time!?? It's not all that epic... But kind of entertaining :)

I got home around 1:30AM, Robbie called me around 2ish.. didn't hear the phone, and then again at 5ish and that woke me up, I saw he called twice so I texted him to see what was up and he said he had been stuck since midnight, that's a long ass fucking night! So I got up and put pants on and wandered out to my truck, stopped for coffee and smokes and I was trying to figure out who might be up at 5AM on a Saturday.. Robbie said he wasn't too far away from the road at Weeks pit, so I figured I'd park the truck and go walk up with my Hi-Lift and give er a go with that, but then I found a buddy so I went to meet up with her and we went in the trail through Enfield took us forever to navigate through all the damn logging roads.. we even got lost a couple times.. The worst part is most of the "trails" were like this:
    45bb21a9e8e638d6e3fc21f7edad1171_aa382422ab6ef1927ad94979d4ceefc8028352af.jpg
And we were wondering how the fuck they got stuck..

Eventually we came across Robbies buddy who had been stuck for about 4 hours by the time we got there, he was stuck nose first in an ice washout, little yank and he was on his way. Jessy and I moved off to the side of the trail so he could get by us, and this is where the fun for us begins... Jessy ended up slipping off....

And then she kept sinking in.. Shit was getting sketchy so I tied her off to a tree so we could get her stable.

I was stuck between the washout and her and didn't have a whole lot of room to maneuver around and ended up with one tire falling into the washout. I needed to bump it out, but I couldn't go backwards because she was right there so I had to cross the wash out. I turned around and tried coming back across in hopes of pulling jessy out, but when I tried to get across again it was a little harder than I had hoped, so I worked it and got my truck back out and left it on the other side, figuring one truck stuck is better than two right? Our other buddy Billy texted Jessy and said he was on his way in from the beaverbank side so we figured he would run into Robbie and they could both come down and give us a hand. A few minutes later I got a call from Robbie saying he got winched out and that they would come give us a hand. Billy texted again saying he was stuck and hadn't seen Robbie yet.. That was weird..

Over the hill we saw a big ol' Ram and Robbie behind him (JJ in the Ram had called me earlier that morning wondering what was going on and decided to show up which was good). JJ figured he could pull jessy back and it would be fine. When he tried to cross the washout he ended up getting stuck and i had to give him a little tug

Me and Robbie stood on Jessy's high side slider to try and keep her from toppling over but she couldn't get back up on the trail because of the ice. JJ figured he could beat through the ice in front of Jessy and pull her forward. He went about his ice breaking business, lots of limiter and spinning all fours on the ice back and forth and water spraying everywhere eventually he got all the ice broken up:

Then he pulled Jessy out (mostly under her own power) and they circled around and we were on our way! We reached the road around 11AM. Little Saturday morning fun!

But for real.... shits kinda pretty at 6 30AM

Friggin dollar is jamming me up on LED lights. I want a set of those 9 inch round lights. ARB knock offs as it were. They run about $100 USD each. I am good with that. But then add $85 USD for shipping and I am so close to $400CAD it's not even funny.

Amazon.ca is about the best so far. Around $250-$300 CAD. Still seems like a lot of money for something out of some hole in China that is worth $45 to them. I hate when capitalism works against my wallet.

I have to admit I chuckled when you said you stopped for coffee and smokes....Talk about divine intervention.

No damage to anything? Do taco's suffer the pulley problems that FJ's do? Muddy water is a killer for our tensioner pulleys. Eats them quick.

Yes... I go though bearings often. I normally just tap them out of the pulley and get the bearing sized up

I wonder if that is the noise I hear since the fun on Pipeline. There was a bit of muddy water.

That could for sure be it! Take your serpentine belt off and give all your pulleys a little shake and look for a excessive play. Since they are just a ball bearing they will have a little play and that's normal, don't fret about that.

Very little fretting here, though I wouldn't miss the noise.

You could get one of them steshicopey thingies and use that!!

Another thing is a long screw driver/prybar.. Just press the end against the nut that goes through the center of the pulley and listen to the handle.

On another topic, my 4 year old gets to me tell her the story of the time we went down the Pipeline / Muddy Myra almost every night. She knows who went first through the holes, who got stuck where, and who towed who out. She can all your trucks apart by colour. I think she needs to go for a drive!

I hope there is a Canadian distributor, the exchange is brutal these days.
