I don't already have any of that haha, including the skill. Not to say I wouldn't be able to learn, but right now it seems like quite a bit to tackle. Perhaps a less crazy retro setup would be better for someone like me to try to tackle on my own.
That dash looks so modern compared to stock. I like it. I fear I'd miss the soft, friendly orange glow. Anyways, if I were to install cab controls for lights, I'd have to stick 'em somewhere else, since I have a double DIN head unit.

Before/after 2000 Prerunner. When I bought it, it was pretty boring, your basic stock model with few features but an extra cab. I have turned this little pickup into a stealth cruiser. It now acts like a mini- RV on road trips and gives me a comfortable space to camp out, cook out and hit the water. It even has a new music setup that has brought the old dashboard back to life. It has become my home away from home. The engine and transmission are completely functional and have never ever given me problems. My one last detail is to bring it to a marina and have the seats reupholstered in leather, to give the interior a fresh leather aroma and a new car feel. I will always use this as a travel vehicle. I will replace the engine with a used one at some point, but this baby is mine for life.

I have the retractable D rings on the top of my rails, works wonders! And they are recessed until you want to use them and they pop up.

I hear ya man, I have quadruple checked everything but I'm afraid that numbers don't lie...

I very carefully measured hub to fender flare multiple times both before and after installing the kit and yes, I absolutely have double what should be expected. I have no clue why... It's not like there's really anything to fuck up that would yield such a ridiculous result.

No it didn't. If you replaced your old ass suspension it was probably sagging so bad it was less then stock. How mine was. With King coilovers at 0" lift I got almost 1.5".

Anyone ever repaired the C channel only part of our frames? The old 96 is pretty bad on one side. I wouldn't usually care for a beater rig but I'd rather not have my leaf springs go through the floor of my bed.
