I see you're a new member so i'll just post it in case you cant find the post.

ATTENTION: PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CAREFULLY. YOU WILL HAVE BETWEEN MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15 THROUGH MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22 TO PLACE YOUR ORDER. ORDERS OUTSIDE OF THIS PERIOD WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GROUP BUY DISCOUNT.

For all ordering questions, please contact the vendor directly at info@truckfridge.com or by calling (502) 863-4536.

Unfortunately the TF website is not very intuitive, so I've made the following list of instructions to make it easier for them to process orders, and to minimize any potential issues you might have.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING FRIDGES + ACCESSORIES
    • Navigate to the Truck Fridge online store at the following link: http://truckfridge.com/store/page6.html
    • Add the fridge model you want to your online cart (TF31/41/51)
    • Once you are in the cart, PLEASE USE THE APPROPRIATE DROP DOWN BOX TO DISABLE SALES TAX IF YOU ARE NOT A KY RESIDENT. BY DEFAULT SALES TAX IS ENABLED.
    • Upon making any change to your cart (INCLUDING DE-SELECTING THE SALES TAX OPTION) please hit the "recalculate" button to ensure everything goes through smoothly.
    • IMPORTANT: IN THE ORDER COMMENTS, PLEASE ADD "TACOMAWORLD/T4R GROUP BUY". THIS IS YOUR GOLDEN TICKET TO THE 25% GROUP BUY. YOU MUST ENTER THIS IN THE ORDER COMMENTS.
    • Check out using the normal credit card method. PayPal will not be available unfortunately.

Please note that you will NOT see the 25% discount reflected upon check out. Truck Fridge will be manually adjusting each and every order and sending out revised invoices for each order with the discount amount. Your credit cards will only be charged the adjusted amount.

I'm sorry I couldn't make this easier to order, but in short there is no coupon code option for the Truck Fridge online store that they could enable for us. If you have any questions, please reach out to the vendor directly.

Good luck everyone, and thanks for taking part in this group buy!

filled out my warranty card after an initial set up and cool down, I love this fridge, can't wait to use it!

side note, anyone else think the mounting bracket is garbage? Those little ball joints did not want to come out of the tabs, how are you even supposed to get it out? pure force?

Camped out in Death Valley this past weekend with the fridge. Awesome! Girlfriend was on the fence about the purchase but was very happy after we used it. I got a slide but didn't have time for an install before the trip, (was surprised it all shipped so fast that I was even able to use it this weekend!) so I just strapped it to the back seat. I rigged up a quick, temporary power source in the back seat. I plan to do something cleaner later, but it worked great this weekend.

Thanks for putting this together man @.45 JHP

Did you guys sleep the night in the bed like that?

You'd become a midnight snack for a big furry creature if you tried that around here. :p

Mountain lions and coyotes in Death Valley, but highly unlikely to have a dangerous encounter with either as long as you mind your own business. I worry more about snakes!

The mountain lions would have me a little worried. Although attacks from mountain lions are very rare. We have tons of them up here but I've still yet to see one up close. They are sneaky little bastards and keep their distance from you. I'm sure I've been stalked by one on more than one occasion, but luckily nothing more than that. It's bears and wolves (depending where in BC that you are) that are the most frightening. A moose will also f*** your day up if you piss it off. Bears will investigate anything if it means getting a snack. I had a bear once completly destroy a BBQ of mine, no food on it he was just licking the grill. I had to fire off some fireworks for him to leave me alone. I've also heard stories of them completly demo'ing an entire camp site (tents included) looking for food.
But there's nothing like the sound of a pack of howling wolves in the middle of the night that will have you scrambling to get inside a camper shell or up to the safety of a RTT. Wolf attacks on humans are also pretty rare but there have been cases of them going after other dogs and small children and even adults.

I got my fridge and bracket on Friday but, I think I want the slide now after playing around with the location in the truck. You guys think its possible to place another order for the slide? I'm not sure why I have to make things difficult but it seems to be a reoccurring theme with me!

One of these days I want to sleep on top of my truck on the rack. Seems like it'd be awesome for a star filled night. Heading out to Arches NP this weekend, maybe I'll try.

That would be cool. Just make sure you don't roll off in the middle of the night! What are the temperatures like this time of year?

I really like those CVT RTT's with the "stargazer" option. Probably the only way I'd feel safe overnight while looking at the stars.
    image.jpg

I have a few friends when they go backpacking who sleep in nothing but a hammock. I'd rather pack a small tent. Although a tent realistically isn't much better at least I don't feel like I'm a hanging meat sack all night long. Lol
