Did you do the retrofit lights your self?

 

Cleaned up after the camping trip.

 

I don't know about super white....it's so dirty it's mostly white. Pic is fruit of this wknd's labor. Opened up 2 sets of lights and played swappity-do-dah with bezels and reflectors and such to end up widdeez........ D2S/Apollo 1.0/Morimoto ultimate 35w 5500k/clear reflectors/super yellow blinker........so so much better than the Philips halogens on low beam. Let's just call the brights a draw, just different colors. Now it's time to connect the LED bar to the switch on the dash. Also finished my Blue Sea setup under the hood to add more goodies.

yessir! time consuming but all around easy.

 

I have the same tool box and like it a lot, it is hard to find the 36" ones like these. I had it powder coated flat black so it doesn't stand out as much.

 

yeah I'm going to be getting a roof rack with boxes on it for over the cab. But I will probably Keep that tool box in there and paint it white Just so I can have a little more needed storage

 

Figured I'd share this small hint of possible things to come.

nice! I've always been curious about the white. interested to see what you do. I did some parts in satin white.

 

Headed to the mountains

 

Here's what I was practicing on last night. I got a small sample piece to start with just to make sure I like the look. It's not perfect but I plan on redoing it when I get a larger sheet. This is 3M 1080 white carbon fiber by the way.
