I thought that's what a truck bed and blow up mattress is for?

U-haul was stupid expensive. Budget truck, one way, came out to right at $100ish with discount code for 30% off. Budget truck, same day, return trip would've been $300 probably. No thanks. My buddy is gonna drive my Taco up and I'm gonna bring him back to Cola once the Budget truck is dropped off.

Yeah, the $0.69 per mile would've killed me. I rented my last truck from Budget. All local, used a coupon code. Paid like $20 and never even refilled the gas because the gas gauge never moved. Dude said he never saw a bill that cheap.

That will hopefully be my next purchase a tundra , now that my Tacoma is paid off it makes me want to sit it out in the driveway & put a for sale sign on it so I can buy a tundra .

they are really nice, but still huge. if you don't have to deal with cities or close quarter parking, id say go for it. id hate dealing with that beast downtown in Charleston. he's getting 16-18mpg which isn't that much worse than my damn 4cyl haha

Yep, had I known I'd only get 19-21 mpg average, I would've gotten a bigger engine. If only I knew about TW before I bought the truck... Oh well. Learned my lesson.

I don't mind the size I had a quad cab ram on 36's before the Tacoma . The gas mileage isn't any worse on the tundra than on my Tacoma , I only get like 16 now if I'm lucky

haha yup. same here. I would have at least gotten the v6 so I could use cruise control without hitting the rev limiter every mile or two.

The first time I ever used CC, I was freaking out thinking the truck was messed up. It couldnt handle the baby hills between Augusta and Columbia. Lol. I used CC in my loaner v6 peerunner with no problems in the mountains, I need two more cylinders. :(

yea I drive with my finger on the cancel button so everytime I come close to a hill I can turn it off and just drive it normal. its useless if I have ANYTHING behind me like a trailer. I had an empty trailer coming from Murrells inlet to Charleston and I couldn't use CC on hwy 17. theres nothing flatter that 17 between those two places.
