They are painted....by nature. Think the shade is called mud.


Can't see them with my wheels. Can't even see the rotors....

 

Bruh it was royally F'd up.. While switching out the bezels the bowl was found to be cracked. If the aim can't come within spec then I'll buy them back. Tw warranty lol

For those of you who have Hi-lift jacks, which one do you have? There's the 42", 48" and 60" and cast/steel, all cast and x-treme. Trying to figure out which one to get.

 

I have a 48" also. Fits in my bed and works fine.

 

Those aren't even really drilled... To work effectively the holes need to go all the way through

 

I'm not a "brake guy" but I believe the holes aid in cooling and maybe initial pad bite while the dimples don't cool, just aid bite. Again, not 100% but that's what I always thought. However I had a drilled rotor develop cracks and stopped using them. Granted this was over 10 years ago and I used to track the car so there was a lot of abuse/factors weighing in that could have contributed.

Honestly, does it even mater for most cars/trucks? Mostly for looks for the majority.

That's why I had to post a pic, can't see them with the wheels on.

 

Same reason I'm gonna rear disk my a/c.. For looks ;-)... The skid control ecu sends almost 80-90 it feels like up front

you guys have the base too? is the handle keeper actually useful, as in, the jack handle is loose enough to move around a lot while it's mounted? I've been putting this purchase off for a while too, since I haven't figure out where to mount it.
