    For those of you who have Hi-lift jacks, which one do you have? There's the 42", 48" and 60" and cast/steel, all cast and x-treme. Trying to figure out which one to get.

    I'm not a "brake guy" but I believe the holes aid in cooling and maybe initial pad bite while the dimples don't cool, just aid bite. Again, not 100% but that's what I always thought. However I had a drilled rotor develop cracks and stopped using them. Granted this was over 10 years ago and I used to track the car so there was a lot of abuse/factors weighing in that could have contributed.

    Honestly, does it even mater for most cars/trucks? Mostly for looks for the majority.

    That's why I had to post a pic, can't see them with the wheels on.:oops:

    Same reason I'm gonna rear disk my a/c.. For looks ;-)... The skid control ecu sends almost 80-90 it feels like up front

    you guys have the base too? is the handle keeper actually useful, as in, the jack handle is loose enough to move around a lot while it's mounted? I've been putting this purchase off for a while too, since I haven't figure out where to mount it.
