Yep, light racing arms, fabricated by spc performance. I like them, especially after the bushing and balljoint redesign. Stronger than stock, easily serviceable, and far more travel than extended travel coil overs put out. Of course they aren't as strong as a full DOM uniball arm, but I do recommend them for consideration when people are shopping around.

 

Hey everyone I'm back. Not that you noticed!! Lol

I am looking at changing out my rear suspension. Right now I have all pro expo leaf packs and fox shocks with controllable absorption.
I think I want to lower it a bit. Maybe do a ome rear. With the Dakar leaf pack instead. I'm not sure the fox shocks will be in tune with them. I thought I was going to have a lot of weight in the back but I don't.
Anyone looking to buy or maybe just swap?

 

I have SPC UCA & LCA'S on my chevelle. I like them because you no longer need shims for caster & camber adjustments, UCA's are fully adjustable.

 

On my SPC arms on my Chevelle the uppers have screw in BJ's. Are they like that for the tacomas?

 

Yep, giant nut on top holds the ball joint in position and allows for adjustment. Car guys seem to always love the spc arms.

 

Clean it

 

Bite me lol it was clean until I had to park in this front yard lol. Not enough space in the drive way ha-ha. But I got my new tail lights in the mail today so they got installed in the rain f yea!

 

Besides its raining no sense in cleaning it when the acid rain will just make it dirty again.

These are the lower SPC arms that i have on the chevelle. I did a lot of research before i did my front suspension and i've read nothing but positive reviews about SPC. If i had to do it over again i would've went with a airbag kit tho.

I got the springs, just want to wait for a warm/dry day so I can do some rust prevention painting while I got the coils out. And yes, that's Fleet street, I was heading to the 2200 block.

 

I "sharpened" my axe today lol not sure it's much better than it was before I used the dremel on it to sharpen it ha-ha

 

Good I need to borrow it and take it to work and do some cutbacks of my own..

how long ago did you get those lowers? the picture has the same bushing in it that spc did away with on the tacomas. granted, tacomas cycle a lot more travel than a chevelle, but that bushing style was very prone to failure on our trucks
