Noticed this yesterday while washing truck. Seems the adhesive used to attach the fender flare is not holding the flare in place, causing it to pull apart from the body.

Not too worried about it, Toyota will make it right. Just passing on the info so everyone is aware and can keep an eye on their own.

In these photos you can see where it's pulled away, but it's loose all the way around. When you push on it, it moves about an 1/16 - 1/8 of an inch.

All the rest are tight to the body.

Wait, you're being reasonable about this and aren't filing a lawsuit? Crazy!

Nah, Canadian...passive and apologetic. Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings in the Toyota Plant.

Just a thought, it looks more like the rubber gasket between the flare and the fender got pushed in. Do you power wash your truck or go through those high pressure car washes?

Never. Soft mitt and a bucket of soapy water always! Hose is on "shower" setting, never give it much pressure.

You can push it back in and it grabs for an instant, but then detaches after a second or so.

"I'd be calling every TV station I could and tell them about how Toyota is unsafe and doesn't care, then I'd park it in front of the dealership with a big sign that says "TOYOTA KILLS PUPPIES" until they fixed it!"

Nice to see rational thought OP.

That's a little dramatic for what is minor adhesion issues on a flexible piece of body trim.

I don't think anybody has had a wheel fall off yet.

It's held in by friction. So.. they aren't mounted permanently. Try taking them off and putting some adhesive or silicone underneath and then pressing them into the channel again.

mine is doing that on one of the flares, i will show them when I take it in for service, there is a 1/8" piece of double stick tape and it looks as if it did not stick in one spot, or its not there.
