Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
The truck was purchased in NV, they don't know about these 'tint' laws you speak of. Also, I'm LEO so I think they would be more lenient with that

So the fact that your a LEO means you should get special treatment. I am also an LEO and resent the fact that you would post that. My motto has always been to treat others the way I would want to be treated, Reasonable and fair.

Just got my light bar installed this morning. A Speed Demon DRC30 30” bar Black-ops version. Using the stealth mounts provided by @MojaveMadman - everything came together well. The instructions were easy enough to work with. Due to my light bar, I had to tinker slightly with the mounts, but nothing to sweat over. I let my work technician hook up the electrical, is I just don't have the know-how to have had tried, so left it to him.

Can't wait to go wheelin and camping with it on. Probably drive around town during daylight hours to show them off. To bright to use at night on city roads. :sadviolin:

I am probably going to guess he purchased them as I have been pricing them out myself on Flea Bay and Amazon for when my truck finally arrives as I would rather have true black badges as opposed to dipping them.

Is anyone surprised or unaware that LEO and Firefighters are often shown professional courtesy when pulled over on minor infractions? I know I have been given a pass for speeding a handful of times once the officer learned I was a fireman. I never expect it but it happens and know that it's no big secret. If he is a cop and is being given a pass by his co-workers for tinted windows so be it. Being a cop nowadays is a thankless job and those poor SOB's are walking around with targets on their back. I know myself I would not want to have that job in today's environment.

I get it but why would you want to put a fellow Officer in that position to begin with. If you know the law why break it? Laws are created for everybody not just the general public.

So, a joint WHILE DRIVING? Problem. Otherwise, just a plant that the government has decided to make either illegal or regulate.
    BTW, I've never smoked it.

Did the Rough Country light bar and brackets kit. LINK Rough Country 2016 Tacoma Light Bar Kit LINK

It was a perfect install and the light bar, brackets, and even the wiring harness was all higher quality that expected. For brightness, it is way brighter than the 20 inch dual row I had on my last truck which was an Amazon special. No comparison. Pleasantly surprised and super stoked on how it turned out.

Yea ok, it was only 5 over, Officer it was only two beers, Officer its only a little red stop sign. REALLY?? Unless you walk in LEO shoes don't waste your breath. The job is hard enough without having to hear simple minded comments.
