If you like replacing CV's, go for it!
I've replaced 10 of them in the last 4.5 years. 7 of them were due to torn boots. The other three were the CV itself. Two outers and one inner.
Switched back to OEM and have never had an issue since.

Be careful with the SDHQ boots, hold them up in place at the spindle first and take a good look at clearance issues. The SDHQ outer boots are bigger than OE and in my case they are too big so if they are installed extended into their natural position they will dry hump the fuck out of my lower shock tabs at droop...I mean they wouldn't last a minute. I had to " scrunch " them up which is clearly going to lead to early failure and I've had zero luck finding any other aftermarket boots....

Somewhere, pirate4x4 maybe? I read a discussion of using a Porsche boot on 2nd gen Tacomas.

930 Bates style boots can be used on the inners of first gen tundras if you cut off the factory boot lip. The inners on a second gen are a tripod. I can't see those working on the inners. AllPro sells a high angle CV boot for the outers (which very well may be 930 boots, but I have no experience to confirm).

I'd also recommend CVJ with their silicon inner boots. They've held up great after having OEM's fail

I believe the hype around Bates 930 axles and boots is that they are very strong and handle high HP. I dont know about fitment on the taco or anything else. I just know of the axles from a friend that owned a Race shop for Porsches.

That's it, apparently works for first gen, can't find anything for second.
