I had Jason at APE rebuild my ICON front coilovers to a firmer than as delivered compression damping. Now they only had 15k easy miles on them but to me they went thru the travel too fast bottoming out too easy. After Az Perf Engring worked his magic the truck is MUCH better off road and still comfortable on the street.

 

Hey so if I don't have the connector kit to convert from h4 to h1 bulbs how hard is it to wire it without that harness..

 

You ever tried to stick the square peg through the triangle hole?

 

Yup its called C4. Its fun, usually ends in a big bang

 

C4 and shape charges are pretty sweet.

 

So in other words you are saying I need the wiring harness. I can splice into the existing wires..

 

If you think you can do it, go for it. I've found its easier and safer to just buy the harness for anything involving electrical.

Can anyone recommend a good set of headlights (05-11) that are cheapish? I know OEM are best, but they're also triple the price (from Camelback Toyota Online) of Depo brand on Amazon. My plans are to retrofit them right away anyway, so will the more affordable Depo lights work as well as OEM?

 

I found some local on CL. BHLM and everything. $60. Ill try to find the link later tonight.

 

I think I saw those too, but they looked hazed already. I think I'd like to start with new ones. Both of mine are hazed and cracked and look horrible as they sit now. I need to re-polish them at the very least.
