Not likely. 1-2" tonight, perhaps another .5 tomorrow morning. With recent warm weather, likely none will stick to the roads. School is 96% still on.

I'm taking the easy route I've decided. Appreciate the info I hadn't seen that article. There's five of us going. Three of the other trucks are 80's. One has an LS swap and 37s and one has a safari turbo on 37's. Both of them have offered to take the tent and use it of course if I'm not. So I don't feel I'll be too tippy. I've never had the tent up top. Going to give it whirl this weekend and see how it feels.

I've seen the "sound deadening" thing a few times now. Can somebody school me on it?

Looks like my hand has been pushed a little. I'll be going 4.88 gears in the Tacoma, not 4.56 to match the 4runner. I guess it doesn't make a difference, my spare "get me home" differential is a 4.10. I was thinking to match the 4runner so I could have 1 diff built for a matching spare for both.

No no no, I spent the extra dollar, a layer of old tar paper first, then a nice blue tarp, natural pink gravel, and then tires to hold it all down in the wind. ;)
