The only way I would think it would cause you a problem is if you mounted the ball on the bottom but I'm pretty sure I've seen guys here with manuals that have them.

 

Yea I want the x5800 but don't know what kit to get or if it would fit.. I plan on buying it in a few weeks.

What hacking did you have to do to get it to work?

Im actually gonna get the Rough Country 3" suspension lift http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-745n2.html for it pretty soon. I'm just nervous about getting it lifted before I get bigger tires.

Do you happen to have any install pictures of this? I am thinking of doing the same as I already have lights but I am undecided on how to mount them

In preparation for window tinting this Thursday I asked a Highway Trooper I know to test my factory window tint levels.

Official Window Tint on 2015 Tacoma!

Visible Light Transmission (VLT)
Results are +/- 1%

Driver/Pass Door: 69%


Rear Pass Windows: 26%


Rear Bed Windows: 27%


Hope this helps if anyone wants to alter their factory tint levels and stay legal.

 

How does one get one of those Tint Meters?

I got pulled over back in the summer, for know good reason, and got tint checked by a State Trooper. Factory + 50% (legal) on front windows got me 47% on the tint meter. Which was within the 7% allowance in Virginia. I recently got a waiver for darker tint and went Factory + 35% on the front widows, 80% on the Windshield, and Factory + 20%. We'll see what that gets me if I ever get pulled over for tint again.

 

I'm sorry I left my microscope at work. Can some be good enough to translate?

Fixed that for you.

 

Installed my 2" leveling kit from Rough Country. All in all, I'm in it $125. $60 for the kit and $65 for the alignment. I'm very pleased with the look. I do notice a little shaking in the front end at about 65 but I figured it would go away once I re-torque everything in a couple hundred more miles. Broke it in today pretty good. Rode up to Boone, awesome drive.
