I purchased these off of eBay for like 7.99. They're black and clear and very good quality! Obviously whatever color your truck is will come through the clear on the flags. I love mine! Here's the link if you wanna purchase the same ones.

Actually no, i was not given a ticket for anything and there was no reason for the Trooper to pull me over.
    Backstory:
I had topped a knoll in the left lane of a 4 lane divided highway that I drive everyday. I was doing the speed limit. I noticed a line of traffic in the right lane stopped and a State Trooper car with lights on halfway on the shoulder and halfway in the left lane. Two cars cut between my truck and the line of cars into the left lane and then back into the right lane to pass the stopped vehicles. I noticed that the Trooper was out of his vehicle moving a 'road gator' from the road. I pulled across the lane and blocked oncoming traffic until he could get back in his cruiser. He even tipped his cap to me as he got in and proceeded up the road in front of me. I followed him for about 8 miles when he slowed and pulled into the right lane.

I thought that he was on his way home so I maintained my speed, cruise control still set, and continued on my way home. He immediately pulled out behind me. I thought well he must have mis-judged the speed of the panel van we were overtaking so I put my signal on and moved to the right lane to allow him to pass. He pulls in behind me and pops his lights. We were in a bad curve at the bottom of two hills with no shoulder. I knew that there was a small side road ahead about .1 mile so I put on my turn signal and maintained my speed.

We pulled off of the main 4 lane highway and I actually pulled into a long private drive. He walked up to my truck. I had already rolled my window down and had my hands crossed on the steering wheel. He asked to see my drivers license. I told him that my credentials were in my lap and that I was going to reach down slowly to retrieve them. I handed him my driver's license and my CHP. It is not a law in Virginia that I have to divulge the fact that there is a weapon in my vehicle or that I have a CHP, but it is the 'right thing to do' in my opinion. He threw my CHP back at me and asked where it was. I told him it is a J-frame revolver and it was in the center console.

He asked what my tint was. I told him 50% on the front and factory on the back. He asked if he could check it. Of course I said and rolled the window halfway up. It came out at 47%. He then asked if I knew why he pulled me over and I said no. He asked why I was following him. I told him we were headed in the same direction and traveling speed limit. Then he told me that I didn't have his safety in mind when I followed him up the road. To which I responded 'your safety in mind' remember, I put 5000 pounds of truck between you and oncoming traffic and pulled onto a side road and into a driveway to keep you out of 60+ MPH traffic on that four lane. He turned around and told me to have a good day.

I followed him up the road another 10 miles before he turned off

No offense to anyone here who is a LEO, but I get the feeling from reading your story that sometimes they take their "power" to another level, an unnecessary one. But that's just my 2 cents though. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, and it may or may not have been from a personal experience like yours.

Cool story. Sounds like you are bitter about it still since you've gone too such great lengths to tell your story. Don't let it change the way you live your life.

That's what I was thinking as well. It just started doing it after I installed the kit and figured it would be one of the two. Back to the dealership it goes.... AGAIN

Hey guys quick question I have an 05 double cab long bed 2wd taco and looking to put billies at 2.5" in the front and a leaf or block in the rear at 1.5" lift. Will this lift fit 285/70/17 tires with the right backspacing offset or spacers? Thanks guys!

The problem I had was the head unit was a little to wide to fit into the new face. I'd imagine the 5800 is the same size so you'll probably have to take a file and widen out the hole. The wiring wasn't terrible but trying to get everything in position and to fit is a huge pain.

I bought the setup from someone on here and spun the fuse panel 90 degrees on the plate to cable it up easier. Added the leg underneath to hold it up.
