Check out www.theretrofitsource.com. I have the Morimoto LED fogs replacement for Tacomas and Morimoto HIDs 4500k bulbs with 35w ballasts.

 

Wheels and tires installed. No rubbing, but it is really close to the air dam on the passenger side. Drives GREAT! As you can see the alignment would not come into spec, barely. I will have them look at it again in a few days. Since it is a 2016, I went ahead and did the lifetime alignment. I tried to reset the TPMS sensors, they won't take. I'll try again tomorrow. I ran out of time.

A state can impose it's laws on any vehicle within its state lines. An out of state vehicle with tinted windows (in this case) is subject to CA tint laws and a citation at the of Leos descretion regardless of the persons resident state.

What I hate are the cheaters that work in CA and have dual residence and register their vehicles in another state.

The debate won't get solved on this particular thread so I'll leave it with one thought....forgetting about the Leo comments.....his truck looks nice.

I hate to chime in but. No I do not have jurisdiction in another state. But if you are driving your vehicle in my state in my jurisdiction I enforce the laws of my state. Just because it's okay to tint your windshield 100% (exaggerating) in another state and you vehicle is registered in that state. You are still violating my states laws in my state. So I can issue you a violation. Hate to drag this out but example: it's okay to use a dealer plate on a loaner car in NY. But in MA it's not. Loaner cars have to be registered like any other car. If you drive that NY loaner with the NY dealer plate its misuse of a dealer plate. I can seize the car and issue you a citation for operating an unregistered vehicle. (MGL 90/9). That being said Police have the right of discretion. Other than for violating a restraining order, police do not have to arrest or cite anybody if they do not want too. At least that is how it is in the great commonwealth of Taxachussets.

I dipped my Inferno grill black looks awesome you need to go ahead and do it!! Grill is easy to remove I did 5 coats and it's sweet looking

Thanks! I ordered the Inferno as well, got confirmation from the dealership that it was build yesterday and I should see it late next week. ​

 

Shop got back to me... almost $17,000 in repairs at this point. Still no frame damage noted yet (they have to put it on the machine) but won't know that until the parts come in and they tear it down further. Cant wait the month its supposed to take to get the truck back....

 

Came out to the parking lot and saw 2 other tacos parking right next to my 3rd gen. thought it was funny hahaha

@callaway Did you dip it yourself? If so, how difficult was it? I don't mind paying to have it professionally done but I'm a pretty capable guy and wouldn't mind the challenge.
