FishCreekWash_AnzaBorrego_2.jpg I apologize ahead of time because I posted something similar in the S.O.L.A. thread, but I figured it MIGHT help people that didn't possibly see and/or know about the post. Anyways, for people that aren't familiar with the area, I'm no expert, but I have been there a couple times... punch this address in your GPS navigators:

    5525 Split Mountain Road
    Borrego Springs, CA 92004

That will take you to the "Split Mountain Store" that is JUST SOUTH of the 78fwy. Google it and you will see what I am talking about. From there, just keep heading SOUTH on Split Mountain Road. As soon as the road turns into "dirt" you will notice a HUGE dirt lot off to the right... take THAT. HINT: just ahead, off in the distance is a Plaster Mine that is VERY BRIGHT at night, you definitely know you are in the area.

Anyways, the address above is to basically get you on the right course towards the primitive camp ground at the entrance of Fish Creek Wash. As you drive down that dirt road, keep looking left and, I'm pretty sure when it is night time, you will see a bunch of fire pits lit up and what not...

Another HINT that may help people: when Split Mountain Road starts turning into a dirt road and you come up on a Y-intersection that goes left you will see train tracks and up ahead the Plaster Mine I keep bringing up (VERY BRIGHT AT NIGHT)... if you get to this point, you just passed the dirt road that leads to the primitive camp ground. So turn around and drive back about 50-100yds if this happens and look for that BIG open dirt lot (that will now be on your left-hand side).

I hope this helps people that aren't familiar with this area?

Happy Wheel'n and safe travels people

@madsand Are you going with Ron friday morning/afternoon? I believe Jared is going with them in the morning/afternoon? If not, I'll be leaving HB at, trying to, around 6:30pm. I'll be meeting up with John (sladesdaddy1022) in Temecula. You are welcome to roll with, if you want. If not, I will hopefully see you there when I get there. Either way, safe travels to you.
