I got to figure out the dash kit.. he had hell getting it to fit the radio.. I might have a shop install it for me to save the pain.

I didn't take any pictures, sorry! But, these are the 12mm Amber bolts from superbrightleds.com. I was hoping to just screw then into the grille, but the bolts were too thick for the slots in my grille, so I had to do some trimming. They do have some with smaller bolts, so they may have worked better. I wanted them switched, but didn't want to install a new switch, so I quoted them in parallel and tapped into the fog lights. So if I don't want them on I just turn the fog lights off, and I'm not losing much. Hope this helps.

I actually made my own using a 4 post relay. Super easy to do and cheap.

Wrong again. I was responding to your 'correction' of my original experience with what final results will get with 50% tint and factory glass.

Ehh, I've had 5% on everything I've ever owned with 35% on the windshields. Maybe it's the fact that i'm a firefighter but SC troopers let it slide. I've never been ticketed or even questioned about it in the 11 years I've been driving.

How do you know if someone is vegan or a firefighter? Don't worry, they'll tell you.

There's your reason, ever since SC did away with inspections you can get away with almost anything. All you need is a frame, 4 wheels(debatable if this is necessary), a windshield(can be busted), a seat(milk carton will do) and seat belts. The worst I've seen is a car with no bumper covers, a busted headlight, cracked windshield, ratchet strap holding the hood down, and a bungee cord holding the door shut. :poking:

Nobody cares in KY either. I've had 5% all around and 35% on the front on multiple vehicles for 22 years and have never got a ticket. I've been pulled over several times for speeding etc.. and the officers never even mentioned it.

TRD Pro grille, and color matched surround should be in today. I'm really looking forward to installing these bad boys. Hopefully I can get to it tonight after the kidos are put to bed.

You're in the same boat as I am with doing stuff. Have to wait for the kid to go to bed... and now with our second little one almost a week old, forget getting or doing anything to/with the truck for a while. :(
