How much did they add in actual width and I can't remember did you have the stock ones on there?

@3378jakesr5 they added a couple inches of coverage for sure. Quality fit and the fenders are really solid now..

 

Hmm that might be an idea for down the road if the added with of the SAS and different backspaced wheels get annoying. I'll need your help though!

Keep thinking these aren't worth the $$$$ for just aesthetics, but damn those look badass!

 

They did add some coverage but more for looks then function. They look good though so I am happy.

Hey Eric when you guys did the install of the sound deadner in the doors, did you guys cover up all the wiring and such??? Was just curious and thinking, what if you need to get to those wires at some point..

 

we did and you only neet to get to them if you are waning to change speakers but it should not be that hard to get to.

What size bolt and length did you end up using? 5/16 is a little tight and 1/4 is a little loose, not sure if having play is good or bad

 

So the attached pic shows what I bought on Amazon. I wanted to use the nuts that came with the kit so I got these. Only thing I would have preferred is if the head was larger on the bolt. Other then that they worked great.

 

Awesome, did you use any washers to make up to the head size?

 

Man - love the look of your truck, especially given you don't see a lot of DSM trucks done up nice.

 

I didn't like the look. The oversized head thar came with the supplied bolts looked good. I tried my bolts with a washer and it just didn't look right. So I went with just the bolt. It's amazing how solid the flares are on the truck with every bolt secured on the fender.
