so i went to the dealer yesterday and i turns out they didnt steal the catalytic converters they stole the resanators, both of them and snipped the 02 sensors off but it turns out the resanators cost just as much as the cats they want to charge me $2142 and thats just for parts:(

Go to an exhaust shop and have them fix it. A good exhaust shop can make a better system for your truck, and should only cost about $300.00 :)

You will have to get new bungs installed and new O2 sensors put in. The O2 sensors you can buy at a local parts store. Get Bosch sensors. Have an exhaust shop put it all back together for ya. You will be better than before. :D

It should be WAY under $500.00. Closer to $300.00 when all is said and done. Not sure about the sound. It may be louder if resonators are not installed, but should you decide to have some installed, they should only be about $50.00, and the shop should have different sizes so you can get the sound you want. :)

Wow! That sounds awfully high. Check some other parts stores. I remember the ones for my 2000 were about $50.00 or so. Not sure if they are different for the newer trucks.
