bought the wife a new truck this past weekend and I'm considering selling my truck. Silver Trd 4x4, 6k miles. Excellent condition. I wonder if I would be able to sell it? I owe 33k on it. Are they still hard to get? Are some dealers still marking them up over msrp?
Probably gonna replace it with a 2nd gen dodge 2500 to drive it to and from work.

OP, sorry you want to sell your Taco.

In Texas, there is lots of demand for the Tacos.

In the Rockwall area; they CANNOT keep them in stock and/or get them very often.

You should be able to get a great value dollar for it.

Maybe someone here on TacomaWorld will consider it.

    OR

You may decide to keep it and enjoy it!!!

When I bought my DCSBOR last month the dealer had just sold the same model with 3k miles on it for 35,900. I paid far less than that for mine new, but had to have them trade an allocation for the color I wanted.

You may be able to get close to that depending on your options. OR, Premium? If not, it may be tough.

May I ask why you are selling it? Especially for something that is going to give you worse mileage commuting to work.

Is it because you bought another truck for your wife?

Can you sell it? Absolutely. Can you sell it for 33k? Most likely but I would strive for private party versus trading it in for the Dodge if you can. In my area you can easily find these Trucks. It may not be the exact configuration you want, but dealers still have them for sell and aren't flying off the lot like some are.

We don't need two trucks, really considering a 16 challenger scat pack. And an older Cummins for the farm duties.

I was just curious what others thought if it would be possible to sell for 33k to a private party. In the last 17 years I have bought roughly 25 vehicles.. Lol

Hmmm, should have bought the wife a Scat Pack and then traded her. Then all you would have had to do was get the Dodge truck.
