i made an amazing Ribeye last week. Might have to grab me some red meat this week. Love a good pan sear steak.

Grille is cool too but anybody can bbq a steak.

 

I did pan seared before. Eh.

Can only cook one at a time in my giant Lodge cast iron which blows, so now I grill unless they're filets which fit okay.

Yeah but that lodge cast iron is the best. Pan seared and then finished in the oven.

Best steak I can make- my father in laws Big Green Egg, cast iron grill piece, pump that bitch up to 550, toss the filets in, 2 minutes per side, pull them out, let them sit for at least 5 minutes. Put heaven in your mouth.

 

To be clear, if I were to hunt or fish I would eat that meat, if and when I have chickens I will eat their eggs. My issue is with the quality and above else the treatment of factory farm meats. Hunting to me is admirable, although I still don't get why anyone would want to run a cougar up a tree with dogs and shoot it point blank, but hey that's just me lol. Rant over.
