Hmmm... Tempting. Wish I already knew how to weld. Also I want to return it to stick someday when I sell and I want to transfer the aftermarket parts to a new taco then. I'm guessing it'd prob be to much to try and relocate and then return to stock later. But for the money and benefits it's very tempting. I'll have to think on it.:notsure:

Im doing the relocate Friday and Saturday. I really cant answer what Deaver pack I have because it was a custom order. It was installed on my last build and it started life as a 5" lift expo pack. It has since been re-arched to give about 2.75" of lift.

I had icons that were meant for a 6" lift but they still were not long enough and limited my pack by a few inches.

If you are going to strip the truck in the future keep all your OEM shit and just buy direct OEM replacement parts. Don't start spending cash on shit you cant easily reverse.

FWIW I think you'll be on the right track. If you want to go back to stock don't do a shock relocate. Reversing the rest is just a matter of bolting it back on, and tripping over the take off parts in the interim.

You'll also need new UCAs to go with those extended travel front coilovers, uni-ball to take full advantage.

Absolutely, I'm mounting my CBI Dakar rally hybrid bumper today so it's slowly coming together. Seem I made a newb mistake. Apparently winch mounts are not standard. The TJM 9000 stealth winch mount holes don't match up with the hole on the new bumper...I really got to learn how to weld

so to get mid travel a 10" blistein, and say a BOSS leafpack or other 3" leaf pack would be "mid travel"?: by using relocate kits and a 12" shock you would thus have a long travel or longer mid travel? Im all lost for a decent rear end build... Those relocate kits are tons of cash for a bit of steel I have to weld by myself...

    Yes

Yup your on the right track buddy...and I agree about the relocate kits - pure insanoty to pay for a pre fab shock relo kit when any local fab shop could create the same thing ( or better ) easily for you and you can tailor it to your own cosmetic tastes and exact shock & leaf specs for the same price. Sure, if you are in an area where you don't have access to a local fab shop the kits are cool...

Bring on the BAMF relo fan boys :crapstorm:

People keep telling me I should look into the @Pelfreybilt relocate kit but I can't find it on their website or in their vendor section. Anyone able to link me to it so my lazy ass doesn't have to call?

Crazy storm keeps blowing the towns power out and the backup generator set takes about thirty seconds to get the building back up. Add three to four minutes for the machine to reboot and there comes the blood clot stress.
