    3" ToyTec lift, ProComp shocks, 33" KO2's Helo wheels, Aries bull bar, LED tail lights, 10K HID Kit, double 5% tint all around 35% on windshield., Axle Dump, Complete sound system, 2 12" MTX Terminators with planet audio 4000 watt amp.
    I bought 2 12" MTX Terminators for 150$ on Amazon. I had a 1100 watt amp and it wasn't enough for me. So I bought a planet audio 4000watt amp and it did the trick. I didn't think the amp pushed even close to 4000 watts so I wasn't worrying about my subs blowing but they did lol. What is a good high wattage sub with box for under 200$? Don't tell me I can't have a good setup for under 200$ because I know I can.

    If that's your budget I would recommend looking for something used on craigslist. I had two 12" Alpine Type R's in a sealed box that I sold for $200 years ago that I had bought used. They handle a lot of power and are pretty good quality. Some sellers will hook them up for you to make sure they work or let you hook them up to your amp to make sure they are working. Anything new within that budget are usually low quality.

    Single Sundown E 12 for about $120. Build your own ~2 cube box with an appropriate slot port - or see if you can find one pre-built. Should be easily achievable under $200.

    Yeah, that too. We have what...maybe 50 amps to work with in a stock 1st gen? Is that being generous?

    Let's call it 50A sustained to spare and your battery is okay with it all at a generous 14V.
    Power = Amps x Volts
    P = (50) x (14)
    P = 700
    So 700 watts RMS
    At 100% efficiency
    No amp is 100% efficient
    Best you can do at the moment is probably a Class D at 85%
    So 85% of 700 ~595W RMS - assuming that's your only speaker.

    I'm be shocked if that amp produced more than 1500wrms. What you probably did was have the gain wide open and nuked you subs from clipping/ over driving the output with limited input voltage and current. its simple, buy a legitimate amp that over powers your subs, have the gain low and the signal clean
