    lol Buzz Killington - @BabyTaco I think the point of the meme is that he stacked a bunch of low weight plates (i.e. 25s, 10s, 5s) that are big in size to reach 135 which we can all do with just 1 45plate on each side...

    Those bumper plates are awesome though. Deadlifting with those hexagon plates are a pain in the dick

    I've asked my gym's owner to get a set of them. It'd be nice to be able to deadlift and clean without sounding like the place is getting bombed. Of course, I wouldn't load 15 10-lb. plates on each side to make it look like I'm lifting more than I am like the crossfitters do :stirthepot:

    My gym is built on stilts like a beach house so it's even worse for deadlifts. The whole place shakes. I've only been there a little over a year but it was pretty obvious that no one had ever deadlifted in that place before. A few months after I became a regular they installed that thick foam flooring in the free weight area. It helps a little but the place still shakes if I put down the heavy weight. Notice I said PUT DOWN as I get accused of dropping weight all the time and I have to show them the difference so they quit cutting their eyes from me to the wall sign that says 'please do not drop weight'. Tell that to the guy that let's go of the 25s at full extension when he is struggling to press them over his head. :frusty: Ok...rant over...

    They do have 4 bumper plates. The red, yellow, blue, and green one.I think they came with the t-bar rack but I don't even use them for that because they are too big and limit the motion since the weight hits you in the chest before you can even pull it back far enough to feel it. I just stack a bunch of 25s on it :notsure:

    The 15lb plates are awesome though.y favorite for warm up. Same size as the rest so you can run through the motions without stressing your muscles.

    It's funny because I fit many of the symptoms listed. I do not have a problem but there are a few guys I know that may actually be questionable. It's not something I would try to stop though. They went from eating mcdoubles to carefully planned out healthy meals.
