Do you guys each out your engine bays? Mine is dirty and has dirt in it from just driving in AZ and dried mud from when off roading

 

I think it's a little too big for that. Its a ten seater. I was thinking of doing that with some furniture dollies because the house its coming from has a path from the back to front but my house is all rock from the front to back. I don't want to damage it and the hardest part would be putting it in a truck or trailer

 

I power wash mine usually two times a year when she gets her 6 month wash

 

2013 with 60k on her already. 90% highway mileage though.

 

Theres a place here in Tucson that does engine bay steam cleaning for like $100. I did it with my old truck and the engine bay looked straight of the production line new.

Idk man, google engine bay steam clean in the Phoenix area. There's bound to be someone.

or

Buy some purple power degreaser from autozone. Go to a self car wash, rinse the engine out, spray the degreaser on heavy, then IMMEDIATELY rinse the degreaser away. Purple power is some strong shit and will eat paint if you let it sit too long.

Dont steam clean your engine bay. It gets into all the electrical connections and can cause issues. Water + electronics = $$$ to fix

 

True. I did it twice with my chevy. Never had any problems, but it was a risk I took.

 

Anybody here a good fabricator and could make me a swivel CB antenna mount? I wanna be able to lower the antenna behind the cab between the campershell when Im not using the CB.

Or are you trying to use something like that in a particular spot?

 

I wanna have a mount that will mount on the front driver side bed corner and slip under the camper. I want it to be able to fold down to the right between the camper and the cab pretty securely. I was thinking a detent pin with some kinda swivel action. I'd have to draw it up.
