Wiki says 4wd is 3877 lbs, but not 100% sure what my beginning weight was. Even if it was 4000 lbs, thats alot of extra steel.

    Thats impressive at 6200 !

I guess all the steel re-inforcements in all the right places adds up quick.

The 300lb Jobox and .120 wall tube flatbed add up. That's along with full skids, armor, and roof rack.

Great build man and awesome truck. Looking to use the same axle your using but have a few questions. With the ifs hubs, what did you have to do to swap those in? I looked up the FROR brackets. Does that allow you to run stock tacoma brakes or upgrade to the tundra brakes? Width was a big concern of mine and dint want to run 2 inch spacers so this may be a better solution.

    Thank you!

Ifs hubs (86-95) will bolt right on a pickup(79-85) axle. FROR brackets are used to run (95-04) Tacoma brakes. The tundra 231mm calipers (02-04) have the same mounts as the tacomas making them bolt on as well. Ifs hubs are the only way to run the FROR brackets. With the tundra brakes and ifs hubs, your are only 1/4" narrower then the rear axle. A difference of only 1/8" on each side. This does put a bit more leverage and scrub radius on your steering and wheel bearings but the hydraulic assist and trunnion eliminator kit help with that.

    Hope that helps @malburg114

Thanks thats what I was looking for. Did you have to deal with any bearings o anything when swapping the hubs or did you unbolt the old ones and bolt in the new ones? Where you able to find the IFS hubs pretty easily? May not do the tundra brakes at first since but am looking at keeping the tacoma brakes if possible. Also, does this mean the tacoma calipers will slide onto the pickup axles? Or do you have to get different calipers? And finally, will this cause problems if I only run a steering box without a Ram of some sort. Sorry for all the questions. Just when I think I've figured out what I need to know, more stuff pops up haha.

Just replaced bearings and races with a Marlin rebuild kit for the Ifs hubs. After that it's bolt on. Ifs hubs are a dime a dozen at any junkyard. Every 86-95 pickup and 4runner with manual hubs had them. Tacoma brakes only work if you use FROR's brackets. Without those the only brake upgrade for the toyota straight axle is the fj60 combo (Google search will get all the info for that). Steering won't be as nice but still very doable without the ram.
