That's some crazy weather. Our sketchy weather will start soon and go into November. No matter where you live we all have some kind of crap weather to contend with. Hang in there, and go safe.

Lol, yea I didn't what to say the words, we all contend with the possibility of experiencing hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards and we can't forget earthquakes.

@ work late. President needed to control who was here to vote @ board meeting, so he called it on a day and at a time when opposition was unable to be here. So much for all us non-voting, no opinion worth mentioning employees....Gotta stay til meeting ends around 7-ish..... They need to know that's well past my normal grazing time.....Grrrrrrrrrrr!

:rain: Monsoon season here at the moment. As best I could tell, we had .03" less than 2" last night and it's still coming down. Turning to spotty showers as the day goes on. Temps dropping from the 51 reading now to low 30's by midnight. Snow flurries around midnight as the rain tapers off......and the predictions are changing with every minute that goes by....

We'll be on the road this afternoon, headed south for a funeral. Plan is to stay overnight near Nashville Tenn. May drive back north to Bowling Green Ky before we bed down. We'll figure that out as the night goes on. :turtleride:

OK....Work. Had a long, B.O.R.I.N.G. board meeting last night. Politics and egos.....They mix like alcohol and fire arms.... Managers meeting today. That's low level politics mixed with some ego and a lot of hurt feelings. Not QUITE as boring, but no less a waste of my time. Oh well. It ain't all about me.

Hope y'all are doin' well. Hope yer day is a good'n! As Red Green often says, "Keep yer stick on the ice".......

Well, I made a huge mess, but I got the laundry tub/kitchen sink drain unplugged. Those bladder things you hook to a garden hose actually work. Now to clean up and reinstall the p-trap on the tubs.

Got the day off work to have yet another ultrasound for my abdominal aortic aneurism. It's not going away doc; no need to look at it every couple of months. It hasn't changed since I quit smoking, but they still feel the need to collect the insurance for checking on it all the time.

Good luck with that, Roger, hope they get you fixed up soon.

I've been living with some minor pain for almost a year. Finally dragged myself to the dr. yesterday and my suspicion was confirmed, I have a hernia. Not much of one but may need surgical repair. I hate being right sometimes. Oh well, many worse things could happen than a small hernia.

Everyone have a great day !!

    Thanks,
Thank, Susan.... it was feeling better until she was poking around at it yesterday. Haha

I'm sure the referral will take a few weeks and then it will take a few weeks to get in to see the surgeon and another few weeks to get an opening for the surgery. That'll put my recovering right around the time I want to be out planting flowers in the Spring. Ugh.

can they do that with just a couple of small cuts? Should make the recovery quicker and easier... :notsure:

I believe they can make a small incision at the entry area. But depending on the size of the hernia, the repair work they do on it could cause me to have to take it easy for several weeks. Pain won't stop me from gardening or anything else, hell, I got this hernia last Spring. It's the danger of doing further injury before it's healed completely that will slow me down.

Good luck CAM and I hope you feel better. Rough weather tonight in Southern Md, terrible storms rolling thru. You're probably having the same up there in your neck of the woods. Stay safe and take it east

Thanks, Jeff. If I was able to handle hernia surgery as a 2 month old and again as a 2 year old, I should be able to handle it now, right ? haha

Yeah, stormed here from about 5:15 until 6:30. seriously long and wide band of storms stretching all the way from Upstate NY down to South Carolina. Tornado watches issued but I haven't heard of any yet. Stay safe !
