I'm glad you started this thread because I'm thinking of doing pretty much the exact same thing LOL. Did you decide on what to do yet? Do you have any "before and after" pics? Thanks!

I got my shocks in the other day from @HeadStrong Off-Road so I plan to do everything next week. Wanted to do it this week but was too busy. I'd say waiting long has only made my mind go back and forth on what setting, but I measured the difference and it was about 2 inches so I'm probably going to go 1.75 in front and call it a day. I'll post a few pics when I get it done. I looked on many different posts regarding this, so I said why not make my own thread and see. Lot of great info and feedback

I am using the stock UCA's. No issues and my Alignment was easy. The guy I used new what he was doing and let me ask questions and asked what settings I wanted. :)
If you are going to do a 3" lift or higher then you would need UCA's.

I did get my kit from Headstrong Offroad. Great people!

Yeah, I think there's lots of opinions but it comes down to what you prefer. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like and what you think about it when done!

Ya I had a 2000 Silverado with a small lift leveled out and I loved it. I know I don't want to get too crazy with it so I think I'm doing it the right way. How's the 2016 so far?

Oh cool...yeah I'm LOVING my '16. Can't wait to do what I'd like but gotta save up first! Besides, my "boss" isn't gonna let that happen any time soon HAHA. When I owned a 9'4 pick up I just put a body lift on it, so I wanna do it better and put some Bilstein 5100s up front. My friend has an '08 Tac and recommended I could do that - just put some on the front with stock on back. Good luck with yours, and again can't wait to see!

I love the white lettering out. I just ordered wheels and tires. Wish I would have gotten my ko2 white letters out

I like the white lettering also. I'm going to go that route with the black trail teams in putting on.

I'm getting the shocks done now actually since I have a day off. I hope to get my wheels, tires, and alignment done right after. I'll have some pics soon.

Just going to give my input so far. I had them out in at the 1.75 setting and it seems to high off the bat personally. The mechanic was super cool and said if I want to drop it down to the .85 setting he would take care of it. He told me himself it looked a little higher but that once I get my wheels tires and proper alignment done it should settle some and be better. If not he said bring it back and he would adjust it. Now just waiting on the wheels and then alignment.

Just did 5100s on my 05 reg cab set at .85 which is just about what I picked up in height at the front wheelwell. Camber increased about .5 deg and is now at .75 each side. Ideal is .54 / max 1.29 with .5 deg cross tolerance so I'm good there. I lost 1deg of caster each side and am now at about 2 deg each side which I think is probably ok even though max camber for this model is listed at 1.29 deg. I also picked up a small amount of toein. (forgot to write it down) but I set it back to 0. Measurements were done with my stone age bubble gage and toein rod.

Here it is. Didn't have time for a alignment, so it will sit till Friday. I understand there is a "settling in" period from what my mechanic told me. I got to be honest, driving it home and then to the americas tire, I wasn't feeling the ride or the height. Already wanting to drop it down to .85. The mechanic told me to give it time cause it will settle in, but he also said he would adjust it if I don't like it.

Ya I think I will for sure. Didn't realize it would be that high to be honest.
