    Girls, girls, girls.. calm down.

Maybe TW isn't the place to talk religious belief. I know.. I sound crazy, but just think - maybe it isn't...

Give Toyota some time to do their investigations. They will fix it, but one thing to keep in mind is you can't fix anything unless you know it's/what is broken, and I am pretty sure Toyota doesn't allocate a team of associates to monitor enthusiast forums. So be sure to let them know, and I am sure you will get the response you're looking for.

    Really depends on state.

When I bought my truck, I had to sign a few documents saying that we have to do arbitration FIRST.

First off OP, I'm sorry to hear you've had a bitch of a time with your new truck and the dealership.... I hope you make out well with the issue.

My question to you is what you described in your CraigsList ad for selling your truck.... "Car is under-warranty and warranty "should" transfer unless you want the brakes repaired. Toyota has decided that the warranty is void if you apply the parking brake in the winter and said they would only fix it once."

Is this true?!? If you use the emergency/parking brake, your warranty will be voided?

That does not sound right at all... Parking brake is just a wire for the most part... Why would using that in the winter void the beak warranty?

If you DRIVE with the ebrake on they most certainly don't have to fix it for you.

(hence the poster complaining of the wheels "locking up" while driving)

Ok, I read the CL add? didn't make much sense.. Went back a few pages. Hmmmm?

So, the dealer sold you a 2016 truck that was in a prior accident and didn't disclose that? I'd be on tv with that shit. Or in the backseat of a patrol vehicle.

Responding now. Would have earlier but running a business while dealing with the issues has kept me busy.

Btw, I don't drive with the parking brake on. My boat also has a top speed of 7.2kts. No blondes allowed, Asian fever..

Working this out with an attorney. Clearly a legal problem and a body shop issue.

After looking under several Tacos it's clear the frame was and is still bent.

Parking brake cable was probably pinched during accident or while being repaired. This probably caused issues with brakes.

If anyone in SoCal knows about a black 2016 Tacoma being in a body shop during November and December please let me know.

All this bitching about the new Tacoma and here I am happy as could be in my 1st gen just cruising along with all the Toyota quirks. Anyways carry on with the bitching.

I'd lean towards the lemon law to rid yourself of that truck.

While I and others here can appreciate (including potential buyers on CL) your candid reasons for selling the truck in the CL ad, I'd be very surprised if you get any bites on the ad.

Selling a $38k, problematic and unsafe 3 month old truck on CL .... with the story as it's written in the ad, will interest only the clinically retarded buyer. For probably $200 more, they can buy new and start fresh. I'm surprised your lawyer hasn't suggested you remove the ad.

I do wish you luck getting rid of it.
