Ok. No I haven't read the 26 pages before this. So I will just ask. Is there a CARB compliant snorkel/air combo for an 07 Tacoma?

I i'm running stock everything. The filter was pretty dirty when I installed it and I haven't had a time to get a new one. but no change in MPG.

Sorry I missed the part about the pre filter. I'm not running that. I just got that incase I have heavy rain, snow and or get really dusty.

I ran it in the rain when it was pouring. MPG wasn't affected, but I didn't check the filter.

Dust is where you want a pre filter, I think its a wash for anything else but good to have in heavy rain/snow to keep your filter dry. You'll have to post what its like with the volant and snorkel, I ended up ditching mine because I didn't care for how the top cover sealed but now I realize that a more rigid aluminum cover could have fixed that

And that's what I am hoping with the Volant is that the heave water and snow partials will fall into the box and not soak my filter as much as if it was the stock filter.

Yeah not sure which filter you have (think it comes with 3 options) but I have the big blue filter (supposed to be the best :notsure:) Not sure how that one would hold up to getting wet but your right it has a decent area to catch all the stuff before the filter which is nice.

I have the blue filter to and what I was reading as it should do really well with moisture compared to the other ones At least that's what I read on their website
