    Just filled mine up and it was under 50 bucks as well!:yes:Gas prices are low right now!Heard something but don't know all the facts yet but gas is going to be very expensive come July with some new tax that's going to cost us all cause the money is going to go towards building bridges and such!

    It's already in effect.

    First tax isn't actually a tax, because it's not earmarked for anything, just goes into the general fund. Right now it's about $.10/gal. But think about how many gallons are sold daily in CA, then multiply it out. That's been added to your gas prices since Jan of 2015.

    The other one just came into effect on Jan 1 2016, and it's called LCFS. Approx $.045/gal.

    Gas is cheap because we have the highest crude inventories in 80+ years. As soon as that supply in-balance catches up, prices are going to skyrocket.

    Huntington Beach Matt(Orange County).Gas is always more expensive in Santa Barbara.When you move to Los Angeles gas prices will be a bit higher than HB(OC)if not about the same.
