    I am on the phone with esurance filing the claim for the gal that hit me.... this guy is an idiot. Not sure if it's first day or should be his last.

    Thank God I am insured with USAA.

    Why not go thru USAA? You are their customer and should fight for the best outcome. The other insurance doesn't care about you.

    I started my claim with USAA, but I figured I would give their insurance a chance to do decent. Save me the headache of chasing them for my deductible. Still going to my place of choice for estimate and repairs (if I don't put the check to a new bumper).

    Going to Camelback Toyota Collision, they do good work and if I remember correctly, a little high on the price last time. They approved by their insurance, but not a "gold" shop, so they don't love their prices either, but they except them.

    At least you're covering all the bases. I've just never heard a good story when trying to only deal with the other insurance. They are pros who do it everyday and know all the tricks and loopholes for both sides versus most of us who aren't in insurance.
