I average around 15, rarely more than 16 unless long drive without off roading

Yapp.... was averaging 12 when I first got it. Put some fuel injector cleaner in, than octane booster and that brought me to 15. But ya definately lower than the 20 something I hear many other 4bangers get

Dafuq? That's pretty bad for a 4 banger. Maybe you should start using those Chevro-legs :notsure:

I'd suggest a bike though, you can still roll on a flat tire

On top of that I just found a small spot of rust on the frame....
Haaa Chevro-legs o_O. I was thinking about a motorcycle for a little while there on and off, maybe a 300 or 250. A buddy got one recently so it put the idea in my head, but there are so many idiot drivers around. Plus my mom's brother died on one so she wouldn't be the happiest if I went that route

Damnn, maybe I need to downgrade/upgrade hahaha.

Yaa I'm hoping to give it one whenever I have some free time from school, probably during spring break next month. I know it's never had a full tuneup since I've owned it, only things that have been changed are the oil and brakes.

    Yours isn't stock
Jesus that was long. Aren't Cobra's pretty expensive
Can't remember what this was lol
Going through this now with this and the 4runner thread
    Yup. No mas
Doesn't the Sequoia have one too? It's SUV version of the tundra
    That would be AWESOME
    Ikr. Lovely feeling
Looks good. I think a little blending would be good
    I heard about that too
If the evo doesn't have that affect you're not driving it right
    That would be interesting
Right? I'm already pissed I have to pay for gas in the $2 range again
    That's a great plan!
Damn that's bad! I get 20-25 in the Firebird and I believe I was getting 15 in my 4runner with the 3.0
    That's an upgrade!

Should probably lube zerg fittings while you're at it

Appreciate it:thumbsup:. I should be able to get most of that done myself and with whomever friends are also on break, I like fixing my truck even though I have no idea what I'm doing half the time. My uncle was the kind of guy who built street rods and roadsters from the frame up so guess his blood is still going through me hahaha.
Zerg fittings? Haven't heard of those before

They're small metal fitting that you connect a grease gone to. They can be found all over you're linkage and your drive shaft

Yaap, gotta work my way up. I'd love to work on autos as a hobby, carry on the family legacy my uncle left . Maybe one day I'll be able to buy back his roadster, I know who has it sorta haha.
I have some auto tools, not much though. Majority of my tools are for construction and stuff like that. Hell to get the skid plate off my dad and I found a metric set of wrenches he has been given 15 years ago and opened them for the first time

Hmm unless zergs got out dated and I didn't know it I'm positive there are some.

Also I bet there was on the 79. My Firebird's only an 84. My 4runner has them too

I'll keep that in mind for when I have some free time and get all into it . I'm trying to play nice with a friend's friend who is friends with a vw bus auto shop owner here in HB so I can get to know the owner and maybe help him out for free and learn a little when I have the spare time :fingerscrossed:
