Last time I looked they were waaaay up there in price just for a standard rack. Maybe we have different price points for things like that though :notsure: like $800 up there. I can't pay that! I've got lIke 2 or 3 children to look after! o_O I'm going with a lesser known company, but I hear good things

Didn't know you had kids! Also, I thought you were building yours?

I meant that FR is expensive, but LabRak is ridiculous. Theirs are like over 2000 or something. They've also owed CVT a rack and just dipped with the money.

I thought you were building your own for some reason.

Wheels I paid a decent amount for but I sold the old ones for close to the same amount I guess.

Getting really irritated. I called monday when they opened, they told me to email their warranty department with my invoice and pics of the parts I need. No problem.

A day goes by without response... I call the next day (Tuesday), no answer. Today, they said that they never got my email. So I sent it again and no response.

Heard back... They can't overnight it for some reason so I'll be getting this installed much later than I had expected. Kinda irritated with how this all turned out. They make good product though. Just need to have it to use it.

Same here man. I want to go back in a month or two. Camp near a trailhead and hit at least 3-4 trails.

Video by @Boffroad of our rigs cruising around. Next time we will have to bring a drone.

So what are your impressions of the taco vs the 4R now having taken the 4R on a trip? Both comfort and capability.

Well it's not really fair. The suspension I had on my Tacoma was Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners, stock coils up front, all pro expo pack in rear with timbren bumpstops. I can say that the rear rode well after those upgrades. The front was shit.

I now has 2.5" RR Icon Coilovers up front along with a secondary 2.5" Omega Bypass RR Shock. In the rear I have custom coil springs and another pair of 2.5" Omega Bypass RR Shocks and Icon Hydraulic Air Bumps. The coil springs could be stiffer, but they aren't bad. I just like to carry a lot of weight so they sag and I hit my bumps a lot. However, the bumps are so nice that it isn't bad at all.

The interior of this rig is also the premium so I've got the leather bucket seats. I tried the non premium as well when shopping and the seats for the 4runner are about 1000% more comfortable than the second gen tacoma. I don't know about the third gen.

At speed, this truck kills the tacoma, but that is because of the suspension. In my opinion, it climbs hills better, but that has to do with it being 2000 pounds heavier than the tacoma and having 34" mud terrains.
