in the SPL world nobody really does use main stream stuff. Reason why is SPL is dirty sound and only good for one thing, creating pressure. SPL built subs/amps are designed to push as much power as possible and never have any cares about SQ. Main stream tends to cater to people who want a blend of both worlds. I don't have anything SPL in either my truck or Civic. I'm past those days. Too much equipment breaking, too much down time, sounds like absolute shit. All it's good for in public roads it pissing people off and hurting your hearing.

Most everyone these days makes street bangers. Super loud, lots of bass, not that much SQ. Easiest way to go these days because you can use all Class D tech and save a bunch of $$$$.

You forgot the link to the amp. :)

That's crazy. So what are good SQ based companies? I'm pretty over the spl, though I don't mind some bass every so often.

    Shit.. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68789_Precision-Power-PPI-i520.4.html
    There ya go. Haha.

PPI isn't what it used to be which is why I made sure I listed they were from the 90's/2000's.

Focal, Hertz, ID are all SQ branded speakers. Their amps are pretty good but there is some other stuff out there that competes.

You can always get a digital processor and then the amp doesn't matter as much. Audison Bit 10 and Bit 1 are fucking amazing products.

What other companies compete with them? I'll check out those brands as well

And I might upgrade to a digital processor later.

Got the XB1 setup last night and let it update and install what games I have.

If any lurking nerds out there have a copy of D3 for the One and want to get rid of it let me know.

Nothing pre-made. There is some changes that 08's and up had, then 12/13's and up had some other changes. I can help you set it up.

There is maybe a few hundred manufactures when it comes to mobile audio. a/d/s, DLS, Elcipse, FI audio, MMATS, Heliux, Zed audio, XS power, etc, etc, etc. Also depends on what year the amps were made. Rockford BD1000.1 in the late 90's was one of the best amps I've ever seen for subs. Now the BD is 'ok' at best.

I have a copy of the Mighty Ducks 3 you can borrow. Didn't know you liked that movie so much ;)

I can't wait for Diablo. Also I've found it online for about $30 everywhere. Used you can get it way cheap.
